Midas Labs – Logo and Branding

Midas Labs is an ASIC design company specialized in blockchain mining and associated applications. Its unique super hash engine provides the world’s first reprogrammable ASIC miner chips supporting tens of hash algorithms in one single chip. The founding team is all ex-Intel and MediaTek. Their mission is to be the world #1 hardware and chipset for the blockchain industry. Midas will shake the world with their ICs and groundbreaking technology!

Our work with Midas Labs involved establishing their brand, beginning with a logo. As we found out more about Midas Labs, we learned more about the world of miner chips and how the speed of the chip affects the processing and mining abilities. The shape of the logo is inspired by the look of an ASIC mining chip and has been crafted to perfection. You can see the techy and unique design in the square frame and the straight and diagonal shape of the letters in “MIDAS LABS”, made to look like a circuit board.
The unique, square business card modelled after an actual chip also plays a role in the company’s techy design and brands Midas Labs with its striking black, red and gold colours.
To advertise the speed of the chip, the large announcement images were designed as cover photos marked with the tagline “God Speed”, fast like the Roman gods.
