Sunrise Tofu – Packaging Design

Sunrise Tofu is a popular tofu brand committed to providing the best high quality traditional and innovative non-GMO tofu and soy products. We worked with Sunrise Soya Foods to give their packaging design a fresh new look. Our focus was on bringing tradition into modern life. The art is the hand-written calligraphy of the Chinese characters which we transposed into a vector format while preserving all of the stroke details.

The stamp and the background pattern also give a traditional feel. The stamp is designed with mountain and sun elements to certify the tofu manufacturing of Sunrise Soya Foods, keeping the “Sunrise” brand thematic across all packages. The background pattern is inspired by wooden tray stacks and is made using simple lines to represent the idea of traditional tofu culture in modern life.
