Sources Community Resources Society (SOURCES) is an internationally-accredited, community-based non-profit organisation. They have been providing help, encouragement and hope for individuals and families since 1978 in Surrey, Delta and other areas of the Lower Mainland.
Sources approached us with the objective of increasing awareness of their services and of the demographic they serve. We were requested to create 5 creatives with a consistent message and creative direction.
The key demographic for Sources are people who are experiencing hardship, are aged 18-65, have a low-mid household income, have a high school education, and are living within and around the areas of South Surrey, White Rock, Parksville, and Prince George.
The key objective of the campaign was to target their highlighted demographic and let them know that Sources Society is here to support them in times of need with programs such as their food bank, mental health, and legal and family services. They provide support to a large demographic, including the 5 that were featured in the creatives such as those who are facing a major job loss, suffering from addiction, struggling with being a single parent, confronting homelessness, or being discriminated against for belonging to the LGBTQ2S+ community.
In the end, we created 5 creatives stating “I can” to encourage people to reach out and use Sources’ services. We also worked on an additional poster to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Sources Foundation and build their brand. These creatives will be used in their latest 2021-2022 annual report and AGM display.
